Publish a trail

You can contribute to the Trailence community by publishing a trail.
Once published, it will be visible to everyone via the trail search function.

Publishing is done in several steps:

• On the trail you want to publish, select "Publish" from the menu.
• A copy of the trail is then created in drafts (you will then see a "My publications" section in the main menu with a "Drafts" list).
• During the draft stage, you can edit the trail to create a version suitable for publication. A checklist helps you prepare a quality trail that complies with the rules.
• When ready and the checklist is completed, you can submit the trail for publication by clicking "Publish". The trail will then move to "Under review".
• A moderator performs the review and will check quality and compliance with the rules.
• Once approved by a moderator, the trail will be visible to the entire Trailence community!
• If the moderator does not approve your trail, they will leave an explanatory message and the trail will appear in the "Changes requested" section. You can then improve the trail based on the feedback and resubmit it for validation.
• Once published, you can see all your publications in the "Published" section.
